In early 2026, Neka Zang entered a new phase of her career: one that called not for reinvention, but refinement. A veteran of both fashion and dance, with over two decades of experience spanning performance, authorship, and brand strategy, her work had evolved beyond any singular discipline. What remained was the need for a visual language capable of holding that complexity.
Commissioned as both Creative Director and Photographer, Nick Sparkman developed a body of work designed to articulate not only who Zang is today, but the continuum of experience that informs her presence across industries. The result is a restrained, editorial series that positions identity as something cumulative - built, not performed.
