Julia Heuer is a Paris-based designer celebrated for her eccentric mastery of prints and her innovative approach to artisanal pleating. Before launching her eponymous label in 2017, Heuer served as the Head of Print Design for the renowned textile house Jakob Schlaepfer, where she created textiles for icons like Dior and Comme des Garçons. Her brand is defined by the use of Arashi Shibori, an ancient Japanese hand-pleating technique, which she pairs with bold, digital collages and unexpected color stories. The result is a collection of sculptural, "ageless" garments that bridge the gap between traditional handicraft and contemporary art, designed for those who seek individuality and ease in equal measure.
