SHOT ON LOCATION AT VICTORY TRAILHEAD, THIS SPRING/SUMMER CAMPAIGN FOR VWOOLLO INTRODUCES THEIR LATEST DROP WITH A VISUAL LANGUAGE THAT MERGES CANDID INTIMACY WITH EDITORIAL RESTRAINT. THE CONCEPT; “GOOD FORTUNE LOOKS LIKE THIS”, REDEFINES ABUNDANCE NOT AS OPULENCE, BUT AS EASE, CONNECTION, AND CARE-FREE ADVENTURES.


AS PHOTOGRAPHER AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR OF THIS PROJECT, I ENVISIONED THE VISUAL TONE OF THIS PRODUCTION TO REFLECT UNDERSTATED LUXURY IN THE SHAPE OF CLOTHES IN MOTION, NATURAL LIGHT AT PLAY, AND MOMENTS THAT FEEL EFFORTLESSLY LIVED IN.

NATURAL LIGHT AS DESIGN - EARLY OVERCAST SKIES CREATED A NATURAL SOFTBOX, REMOVING DISTRACTION, AND DEEPENING THE TONE.

STILLNESS + MOTION: IMAGES WHERE YOU CAN CATCH YOUR BREATH, AND OTHERS WHERE IT SLIPS RIGHT PAST YOU.

STYLING IN CONTEXT: NEVER OUT OF PLACE, NEVER OVERPLAYED
EXECUTION

everyTHING WAS SHOT IN A SINGLE MORNING, 3 HOURS. 3 Sweatshirts, 2 pairs of shoes. The overcast skies gave us consistency, making it impossible to focus entirely on gesture, pacing, and interacton with the landscape.I SHOT HANDHELD, DIGITALLY and on 35mm FILm, moving with the models instead of around them. Casting was crucial. Express but don’t perform. unforced and natural, but ultimately striking.



THE RESULT: IMAGES THAT FEEL CLOSE, LIVED IN, AND EMOTIONALLY LEGIBLE.


IN POST, I LEANED INTO THE MOOD ALREADY PROVIDED BY THE WEATHER. DESATURATED WARMTH, SOFTENED HIGHLIGHTS, SKIN AND FABRIC RENDERED IN SOFT CONTRAST. NO ARTIFICIAL POLISH. JUST A DEPICTION OF WHAT WAS ALREADY THERE.









This campaign gave VWOOLLO a full suite of editorial-forward imagery for their Spring/Summer release; spanning campaign assets, evergreen lifestyle content, and social storytelling.

But beyond deliverables, it’s a case study in what happens when a brand leads with feeling. When you treat light like a collaborator. When you trust the clothes - and the people in them - to tell the story.
